Diego took 1^st at the 2022 Maryland 5 Star in the USEA YEH 4yo.

Diego Farje is the most successful eventing rider from Peru. Starting as a pure show jumper under Rafael Annunciaçao’s program, Diego has competed in several FEI shows, Bolivarian Games and the last 2019 Pan American Games where he achieved the highest marks a Peruvian rider has ever achieved in the Pan American Games finishing 11th.

After Diego moved to the US, through his sheer talent, hardwork and achievements Diego was offered the position as Boyd Martin’s Head Rider/Trainer at Windurra. Diego is excited to continue developing his skills under the mentorship of one of the most successful and talented riders in America.

But Diego’s story really begins in his hometown in Peru, where he originally got his start with horses as a show jumper. Unlike in the States, horseback riding is not a casual hobby in Peru.
